Kaja Renkas has been working as a professional artist since 2004. She makes graphics, posters, and paintings. She works at the University of Silesia, the Institute of Art in Cieszyn where she teaches design.
She has participated in major international poster competitions in Warsaw, Bolivia, Tehran, Lahti, Toyama, Moscow etc. where she has won awards and honors. Her works are in private collections and museums around the world. She had several solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad and has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout the world.
Born in 1951.
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Department of Graphic Art in Katowice. Diploma in 1976. Currently a professor and head of a poster studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. His work has been shown in major graphic design and poster shows in Poland and abroad.
Regular participant of international exhibitions, symposia, workshops, among others: The Braunschweig University of Art (Germany), Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University GRAFIST 99 – Istanbul (Turkey), Vital – The Tel Aviv Center for Design Studies (Israel), Diego Portales University – Santiago (Chile), Viña del Mar University (Chile), Indiana University of Pennsylvania (USA).
Winner of many prizes and distinctions. Creates paintings, posters, graphic works, graphic signs, illustrations, theatre scenography, church and music interior design.
Born in 1970 in Rzeszow.
Studied at the Painting Department in the Cracow’s Academy of Fine Arts under the supervision of Prof. Zbigniew Grzybowski. In the years 1997-2010 worked as an assistant in Prof. Piotr Kunce’s Poster Studio. Since 2010 has run a Studio of Preliminary Design at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Cracow. Currently deals with editorial graphics, painting and designing posters.
Has participated in numerous national and international poster and painting exhibitions. Main awards:
2007 – Gold medal; the 20th Polish Poster Biennale; BWA in Katowice.
2007 – Third place; World Award of Monotheistic Poster Competition; Imam Ali Art Museum; Tehran; Iran

Born in 1958 in Gdansk.
Studied at the Visual Arts & Design Department PWSSP in Gdansk (now Academy of Fine Arts) under supervision of professor Marek Freudenreich and professor Witold Janowski. Since 1983 worked as a tutor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, currently professor at the Graphic Arts Department.
Working within various forms of graphic design: poster, visual communication, editorial graphics, philatelic editing as well as small graphic forms.
Participated in numerous editions of international poster exhibition cycles: Warsaw, Lahti, Mexico City, Colorado, Teheran, Moscow, Sofia, Taiwan, Chicago, Hangzhou, Rzeszow and Expo 92 in Seville. Took part in a couple dozen presentations of Polish poster art both national and abroad, plus a number of global philatelic exhibitions.
Multiple winner of Polish Poster Biennale in Katowice: (1983, 2009 – Gold, 1985, 2011 – Silver, 1995, 2005 – distinction and founded prize) and double Grand Prix (2003, 2007).
